Richard van Barneveld
As from 2001, Richard has been co-founder of InterimIC a consulting company specialized in ICT and Innvation. Today the team of InterimIC consists of 25 senior consultants with an entrepreneurial background. During this period Richard gained experience in content for new media platforms such as WiFi terminals, Mobile handsets, digital TV and PC. Richard had a passion for large scale virtual communities such as MMOG’s.In 1995, Richard took the initiative with his business partner to found CyberConsult bv, a company that performed e-business projects for large-sized companies. As commercial director, Richard was responsible for sales, marketing, corporate planning and finance. In October 1999, the company was sold to Icon Medialab AB, listed on the Swedisch stock market Richard stayed on as Managing Director of Icon Medialab The Netherlands until the beginning of 2001. In 1992, Richard finished his studies in Industrial Automation and in 1994 he graduated at the Bradford University, where he took his degree of MBA

Richard is a born Entrepreneur, constantly seeking new opportunities related to innovative Internet and Gaming solutions. His areas of expertise lies within start-ups and include strategic business planning, creating and implementing a vision and mission, reporting systems, designing and implementing new products/services, funding, team building and partnerships.

 

In 2001 Richard co-founded InterimIC BV (www.interimic.com ); 'the intellectual capital network'. InterimIC was set up by 8 Senior ICT/Internet specialists with a passion for inovation. InterimIC (currently 25 partners) help their clients with Ad Interim management solutions in the area's of Marketing, communication, project management, Business Development and Venture Capital.

 

In 1995 Richard van Barneveld was initiator and co-founder of CyberConsult BV a company realising e-business projects for large companies such as SEAT (www.seat.nl ), RVD (www.koninklijkhuis.nl), Hewlett-Packard (intranet), NSD (www.labelsandstuff.com) and KPN MXStream . As Commercial Director Richard was responsible for sales, marketing, business planning and finance. The company was sold to Icon Medialab AB (Listed in Stockholm) in October 1999 where he stayed as Managing Director of Icon Medialab The Netherlands untill 2001.

 

In 1992 Richard van Barneveld completed his study Industrial Automation and in 1994 he graduated at Bradford University and got his MBA degree

 

Jurriaan van Rijswijkfounderjurriaan, co-founder and CCO 
Jurriaan van Rijswijk M.Sc. Pinpointed as the first game consultant in the Netherlands. He started in 1981 with gaming by programming Pong on his Sinclair ZX81 spectrum mounted to a black and white TV. He focused during his study at the University on climatologically models and Geographic Information Systems. In his first job he let people literally play with business and process models. The first 'real' game he was involved developing was for the second World Water Forum organized by the UN.


For more than fourteen years (serious) gaming is Jurriaan's main professional focus. He knows what's going on in the mass consumer on-line gaming market. And he is a producer of social impact games and serious games. He is co-founder of Game Entertainment Europe www.ge-eu.com (the first pan-European publisher of Massive Multiplayers), co-founder of the GamesFactoryOnline www.gamesfactoryonline.com (producer of serious games) and shareholder in WZZRD www.wzzrd.nl , a European chain of game café's.
